Where were you? This is a question one of my team leaders asked me to step into the other day. That question is a simple way of asking the Father to show you where He was in the midst of some of the hardest moments. That is not a simple question to step into. When I began asking it, I was absolutely wrecked. All of those times that I felt helpless or all one were full of lies from the enemy, because the reality of it is that I never was. Those memories were then flooded with the presence of the Father and the touch of His hands. My Father, Healer, Comforter, and Joy showed me that He was always by my side. He was sitting beside me, holding me tight, and was weeping over my pain with me.

Something the Lord started calling me into last week and that has now formed into what I said above is that I would be broken over what breaks His heart. Little did I know that that process would start within myself and in all the moments that I have felt broken. He’s begun the process of calling me back into those moments, but asking me to see them from a new point of view; this time from His. That question has been my gateway into starting to see where the Father has met me in the midst of it all. Through that, He’s revealed more of His character and just how deeply He cherishes His children. He has never and will never leave His children alone.

While this is going to be a long process of discovering more of His character, I couldn’t be more excited about it. Thank you for reading and joining me in the journey the Lord is bringing me through! Love and miss y’all!!

  1. Thanks for sharing this Natalie. It’s a beautiful expression of God’s love and healing presence and I’m so glad He has begun to open up this door into your heart. It’s a great reminder and invitation to me too, to allow the Father to bring healing to my pain and disappointments. I love you and am so proud of you! Dad
