Hey Hey!
I am so beyond excited to embark on this journey of the World Race Gap Year! God has done some amazing things in my life within these past few years, and I’m excited to get to step more into what the Lord has for me while on the race. Before we get to that, here’s a little bit about myself…
I am currently 17 years old, and am a senior in High School at a school called The University School. Through my school, I have been able to experience some incredible things in nature, and developed a deep love for the outdoors. I am the youngest of four girls, and I have also been blessed with two amazing parents that constantly push me towards Jesus.
Some things that I love are: spending time with friends or family, hiking, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, climbing, spontaneous people, listening to people tell stories, traveling, anything that causes an adrenaline rush, the simple moments in life, my Jesus, and worship. While I said it a few times within that, I’m going to say it again. I really just love spending time with people and everything that comes with that.
In the past year or so, the Lord has been showing me a lot and growing me in more ways than one. One thing that He has been teaching me recently is to trust Him in everything. That is huge when walking into a scenario like the World Race where so many things are entirely out of my control, but they are not out of His. He constantly is asking me to give up more of myself and let Him fill those spaces with more of Himself. Guys, He is SO GOOD. I can’t believe how He constantly continues to show that to His children.
That is a little bit about myself, but I am excited to get to share more of my heart and what the Lord is doing within this whole crazy ride that is being called The World Race. I cannot wait to include you guys in this wild ride!
